Guangzhou issued a plan recently to strengthen the development of Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Pilot Zone.

Located in north Haizhu district, the zone covers an area of about 14.9 square kilometers. By 2025, it will cultivate and introduce a group of global digital economy leaders with strong technology and talent competitiveness.

Haizhu will speed up the construction of Pazhou west area and strive to add 10 urban industrial parks during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25). By 2025, the urban industrial scale is expected to exceed 100 billion yuan ($14 billion).
