Promotion and exchange activities centered around the development of Haizhu's digital cultural and creative industry were held in Guangzhou Venture Capital Town on Aug 23.

They included the appointment ceremonies of the Haizhu District Creative Culture Advisory Group, a promotion event of the regional business environment, a policy presentation on Haizhu district's game industry support measures, a cultural and creative industry policy interpretation and regulatory service sharing event, a legal expert policy sharing event, as well as a roundtable forum on digital cultural and creative development trends.

The relevant person in charge of the publicity department of the CPC Haizhu district committee, which organized the event, said that the establishment of the Haizhu creative culture advisory group aims to guide the game industry to strengthen ideological leadership and industry self-discipline, improve the quality of development, as well as facilitate the high-quality development of the digital cultural and creative industry.

Hou Zhuang, a member of the advisory group and general manager of the Digital Technology Center of Guangzhou Shanshui Bide Design, said that as a creative cultural consultant, he will give full play to his professional advantages to carry out targeted and forward-looking policy research, which will contribute to the development of the digital cultural and creative industry in Haizhu.

At present, Haizhu is relying on the advantages of the Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Pilot Zone to focus on the development of the game industry.

At the event site, the Haizhu district investment promotion bureau held a theme promotion activity focusing on the business environment and industrial investment promotion services in Haizhu. For example, Haizhu district pioneered the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) chief service officer working mechanism to provide enterprises with a full range of high-quality services throughout their life cycle.
