On Aug15, Guangzhou added 42 free parking spots at night, including seven in Haizhu. The exact timeframe for free parking spots at night is from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am.

The seven free parking spaces available for parking overnight in Haizhu are Dajiangzhi Street, Huilan Road, Nanhua East Road, Hongmei Road, Wansong Road, Changgang West Road (at the bottom of Hedong Bridge), and Yongcui Road.

Although Dajiangzhi Street in Haizhu district only has two-way, two-lane lanes, the road is large and there is not much traffic flow. Customers and some business owners complained about how difficult it was to locate a parking spot, even in a paid lot, close to Dajiangzhi Street.

The establishment of a night parking lot will be very helpful to the locals and businesses. There is temporary parking available for 23 automobiles in the Dajiangzhi Street night parking area. On the west side of the stretch from Guangzhou City Polytechnic to South Sea Fisheries Research Institute is a precise parking place.
