Chigang Street in Haizhu boasts long history

Chigang Street, which runs from the Pearl River in the north to Datang in the south, Lujiang in the west, and Pazhou in the east, has a long history.

Next to the Canton Tower, T.I.T Creative Park boasts old industrial nostalgia and a new wave of vitality, and is formerly known as the Guangzhou Textile Machinery Factory.

At present, there are more than 4,000 employees working in the park, and the average age of about the employees is 30 years old. In 2021, the output value exceeded 25 billion yuan ($3.7 billion).

One of Guangzhou's most recognizable towers is Chigang Tower. For foreign businesspeople entering Guangzhou, it is a required stop. People know they have arrived in Guangzhou when they see the Chigang Tower. The tower has been glorified by international business people in paintings and books.

From 2003 to 2005, Metro Lines 2 and 3 were opened, and a station was set up in Kecun, which became a transfer station for Lines 3 and 2 (later changed to Line 8), and Chigang Street became a transportation hub on the Pearl River.

The Canton Tower, which is the world's third-tallest tower, was finished and lit up in Chigang in 2009. It integrates dining, drinking, entertainment, and sightseeing and serves as a landmark in Guangzhou, attracting tourists from all over the world.
