The 5th Guangdong Lingnan Art Exhibition is scheduled to be held in Haizhu district, Guangzhou, Guangzhou province in November 2022. Submissions to be considered to be included in it are open to the public until Sept 9.

The Guangdong Lingnan Art Exhibition was an important part of the previous Lingnan Calligraphy and Painting Art Festivals. It is also an important platform for showcasing young and middle-aged talents in the Chinese painting industry.

The selection committee is composed of experts hired by the Guangdong Artists Association. The selection of works in this exhibition is divided into two stages: initial evaluation and re-evaluation. The initial evaluation and re-evaluation stages will not be repeated.

No more than 200 works will be selected, including two gold awards, five silver awards, 10 bronze awards, and several excellence awards. The works that won awards will be collected by the Shixiang Garden Memorial Hall. The collection fee is 50,000 yuan ($7,410) for the gold award, 30,000 yuan for the silver award, and 15,000 yuan for the bronze award.

Entries should demonstrate the openness, tolerance, and innovation of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Each person is limited to submitting a maximum of three entries.
