On July 15, the Haizhu district education bureau issued a notice on the establishment of Guangzhou No 97 Middle School Education Group and Guangzhou No 41 Middle School Education Group.

Guangzhou No 97 Middle School Education Group includes Guangzhou No 97 Middle School, Guangzhou Xiaoyuan Middle School, and Guangzhou Lantian Middle School.

Guangzhou No 41 Middle School Education Group includes Guangzhou No 41 Middle School, Shaolao Middle School, Hongmian Primary School, Industrial Avenue Primary and Secondary School, Wei Guoyao Memorial Primary School, as well as Deng Shichang Memorial Primary School.

At present, there are seven major education groups in Haizhu district, including Haizhu District No 2 Experimental Primary School Education Group, Tongfu Middle Road No 1 Primary School Education Group, Haizhu District Experimental Primary School Education Group, Guangzhou No 5 Middle School Education Group, Nanwu Education Group, as well as the two newly established education groups.

This year, the group layout of Haizhu has undergone new changes. It takes the model high schools in the district as the core schools, increases the depth of group-based school running, as well as further promotes the high-quality and balanced development of junior high schools.
