Lights were turned on in the fourth phase of the Canton Fair Complex recently.

In the 16-meter-high exhibition hall of fourth phase of the Canton Fair Complex, 18,000 sets of lamps are evenly arranged in a 12,000-square-meter area.

The project is expected to be completed before the 132nd Canton Fair in October 2022, providing more display platforms for domestic and foreign exhibitors. The Canton Fair will help reinforce the national dual circulation strategy, in which domestic development is the mainstay, with domestic and international development reinforcing each other.

The fourth phase of the Canton Fair Complex includes an exhibition hall and conference center in the west area, as well as the Canton Fair command center in the east area, covering a total construction area of about 555,000 sq m.

After completion, the total construction area of the Canton Fair Pavilion will increase by 40 percent. The total area is 1.68 million sq m, with a new conference center spanning 50,000 sq m and a capacity for 5,000 additional booths.

The conference center is three stories high, with a construction area of about 60,000 sq m, including a 32,000-sq-m conference area, a 13,000-sq-m multi-purpose area, and a 15,000-sq-m supporting service area. On the west side, there is an outdoor activity platform, covering an area of 9,100 sq m, which is connected to the exhibition park.
