Haizhu established a talent association for its digital cultural and creative industry on June 24.
Jin Cheng was selected as its chairman. He is also the chairman of the Guangdong Cartoon Artists Association and the vice-chairman of the Guangzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles. In addition, 30 representatives of the digital cultural and creative industry became the association's first members.
The establishment of the association is an important measure for Haizhu to gather digital economy and artificial intelligence talents. It will also help Haizhu build a new hub for the development of the digital cultural and creative industries in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Wang Fujun, member of the standing committee of the CPC Haizhu district, said that he hoped the association will pay more attention to Haizhu's development of digital music, animation games, digital audio-visual, digital film and television, as well as other industrial chains. He also expressed hope that the association will promote the cross-border integration of the digital cultural and creative industry to create a new digital creative model.
In recent years, Haizhu district has increased its support for enterprises in artificial intelligence and digital economy. To date, 28 leading companies, including Tencent, Alibaba, Vipshop, iFLYTEK, and Xiaomi, have built their headquarters in the Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Pilot Zone.
