Haizhu issued a plan on June 13 to build Binjiang East Road Station, which will be on Metro Line 10.

Binjiang East Road Station is located at the intersection of Binjiang East Road and Yile Road. The subway station is located in northwest Haizhu and near a bus terminal with four lines. It is about 6.6 kilometers away from Zhujiang New Town and 7.2 km away from the general affairs office of the Guangzhou municipal government.

In terms of rail construction requisition and demolition, the Binjiang East Road Station project involves 10,497 square meters in total office building area and 3,840 sq m in residential building area. Among them, the office building area of Guangzhou salvage bureau (China Ocean Engineering Corporation's Guangzhou branch) is 10,283 sq m and its residential building area is 2,077 sq m, while the bus station site has an office building area of 214 sq m and a residential building area of 1,763 sq m.

Haizhu will optimize the urban roads in the area. The planned land for the construction of the subway station is 9,759 sq m, the actual land area is 6124.53 sq m, and the remaining 3634.47 sq m will be used for road construction.
