The Guangzhou municipal planning and natural resources bureau issued a document to solicit opinions on the urban design plan for Pazhou south area. Haizhu district plans to build Pazhou south area into an innovative and integrated development area with strong competitiveness and attractiveness.

Pazhou south area is located south of Pazhou Island in Haizhu, with the Huangpu River to the north, Chisha Road to the west, and Xinjiao East Road to the south, with a land area of 367 hectares.

The area will build a low-carbon transportation system with a comprehensive public transportation network that has complementary functions of multiple transportation modes. It will also build a dynamic, healthy, efficient, harmonious, and open integrated transportation system.

The residential area in this area will be equipped with public service facilities according to the standard of not less than 11 square meters per 100 sq m of residential building area.
