The 131st Canton Fair has added the logos of more than 30 China time-honored brands, showcasing more than 200 products, to its online platform.
"We are old friends of the Canton Fair," said Li Chuyuan, chairman of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited (GPHL). "The newly added China time-honored brands logos on the online platform not only improves the professionalism and accuracy of the platform's search function, but also brings a broader market space for China's time-honored brands, providing them with new vitality."
At this Canton Fair, many time-honored brands have made full use of the fair's digital platform to explore new business opportunities.
Since the Canton Fair is being held online, potential buyers are unable to see, smell, or touch the physical products on-site. As a result, Guangzhou-based Eagle-Coin, a company that produces canned food, has uploaded pictures, videos, 3D, and other formats to showcase its products, while displaying its brand image in multiple forms and dimensions. It have also set up a VR exhibition hall.
In addition, the China time-honored brands have explored opportunities that have arisen from traditional Chinese culture becoming a consumption hotspot at home and abroad in recent years.
"We promote the rejuvenation of time-honored brands and have taken the opportunity to enter international markets to promote traditional Chinese medicine on the international stage," Li said.
GPHL has been driven by the concept of fashionable traditional Chinese medicine, promoting cross-border cooperation between its pharmaceutical companies and other industries, while also making traditional Chinese medicine more fashionable.
