The first Guangzhou Pazhou Algorithm Application International Competition and Haizhu district's conference to accelerate the construction of Pazhou Algorithmic Silicon Valley was held in Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Pilot Zone on March 30.

Haizhu issued 10 measures for Pazhou Algorithmic Silicon Valley at the conference. They will use all the contributions that the algorithmic industry makes to the region's economic and social development in the next three years to support the development of the industry, as well as provide support in office space, R&D investment, large-scale development, key talents, carrier investment, and conference activities.

These measures include offering free rent to newly settled enterprises for up to three consecutive years, individual economic development contribution subsidies for key talents,  and prioritizing providing technical solutions to enterprises in the zone.

At the conference, Baidu signed a contract to settle in Pazhou. It will combine its own foundation and advantages to jointly build an algorithm industry ecosystem with Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Pilot Zone, contributing to the development of the digital economy.

Mostar Semiconductor, Zhongguang Huayan Electronic Technology, and Guangzhou Hongdu Technology were among the companies to sign agreements on the first batch of landing projects with the Pazhou Management Committee, while Huawei, Southern Investment, the Guangzhou branch of China Unicom, the Guangzhou branch of China Mobile, as well as the Guangzhou branch of China Telecom were among the other companies to have signed agreements with the Pazhou Management Committee for their intentional cooperation projects.
