As the first commercial complex in Guangdong province, the No 1 market of Red Star Macalline opened in the Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Experimental Zone on Jan 1, 2022.

The market has a total construction area of 95,000 square meters, and more than 100 famous brands have established their flagship stores there. Among them, 89 percent are mainstream brands, 9 percent are imported brands, and 2 percent are trendy brands.

There are a total of nine pavilions for smart appliances, trendy furniture, imported international products, boutique bathrooms, sleeping and daily necessities, living room products, doors and windows, high-end customization and soft furnishings.

There are about 30,000 enterprises in the Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Experimental Zone. It was recognized as a provincial-level high-tech zone by the Guangdong government in December 2020, and became a national e-commerce demonstration base in September 2021.
