A Xu Hongfei sculpture art exhibition is being held in Haizhu, organized by the publicity department of the CPC Haizhu district committee.

Xu Hongfei is a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and president of the Guangzhou Sculpture Institute. He chose seven works for this exhibition.

Among them, Builders of the New Era, Kiss of the Angel, and Monument are being exhibited at the Canton Tower Fortune Pier, while Kiss, Three Kinds of Music, and Lingnan's Spring are being shown at the New Era Post Station.

Kiss is one of Xu Hongfei's most world-renowned masterpieces and is notable for combining Chinese and western elements. The piece shows a tall man standing straight and holding up his happy lover high, while embracing her in a kiss. As his lover is a healthy and happy chubby woman, it signifies that love is particularly weighty.

Lingnan's Spring not only captures love of life, but also the beauty of the environment by portraying the actions of a chubby woman, which is famously one of Xu's most popular subjects.
