Shuibo Park is an expo park with the theme of water culture and ecological civilization that was built on the original site of the Pazhou Tower, also known as the Whampoa Pagoda. The park covers a large area with many beautiful landscape features like mountains and waterways, as well as lawns and exhibitions.

There is a large square at the entrance of the park with a water control monument. The park boasts promenades, pavilions, as well as stone benches for visitors to rest and enjoy the shade.

In addition to its large green spaces, the park is home to the Guangzhou Water Purification System Science Exhibition Hall and the Tap Water Science Exhibition Hall.
