Many places in Haizhu district gave Chinese knots, calligraphy works with the character "Fu," meaning blessings, on them, as well as Spring Festival couplets to residents to welcome the upcoming Spring Festival holiday, which runs from Jan 31 to Feb 6.

Haizhu held an activity in which artists handwrote the character "Fu" at Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Pilot Zone on Jan 20. The artists wrote calligraphy and displayed intangible cultural heritage items of Haizhu. They also created different styles of the character "Fu" and the Chinese zodiac for the year of the tiger for 17 companies, including Vipshop and Alibaba, as well as Haizhu residents.

"Holding this event not only enhances the communication and interaction between enterprises, but also deepens the cross-border integration of traditional culture and digital economy, allowing traditional culture to contribute to the high-quality development of the Pazhou Pilot Zone," said an officer of Haizhu's publicity department.

Haizhu cooperated with Jiangnan Middle Street and Binjiang Street to give out "Fu" characters and Spring Festival couplets at Haizhu's Party member service centers from Jan 21 to 22.
