The opening ceremony of a business alliance of the Jiangnan Culture, Business, and Tourism Integration Circle was held by the head office of the circle in Haizhu on Jan 12.

"This alliance is to provide a platform for the government and enterprises to exchange information and share resources," a relevant officer said.

This circle is bounded by Qianjin Road and Dongxiao South Road in the east, Baogang Avenue in the west, Nantian Road in the north, and Changgang Road in the south covering 3 square kilometers. Shopping malls above-ground and underground there mainly focus on the catering industry, supplemented by clothing retail, culture, and leisure with more than 4,800 merchants.

Haizhu issued the Jiangnan Culture, Business, and Tourism Integration Circle Plan on Dec 5, 2021. The plan expects to completely finish the circle by 2022, upgrade it by 2024, and complete its comprehensive improvement by 2025.

Haizhu will perform special cultural activities such as the Lingnan calligraphy and painting art festival, create a cultural and tourism IP with unique cultural attributes and high added value, and build a demonstration area for the integration of culture, business, and tourism.
