The JOYY Tower and the Guangdong Media Tower in the Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Experimental Zone of Haizhu district will soon be completed and begin operating.

The JOYY Tower has 43 floors, is 222 meters high and covers a combined floor area of 140,000 square meters. It is a super Grade-A office building and is expected to be completed and begin operating in early 2023.

The Guangdong Media Tower has a total area of 4,432 sq m and a total construction area of about 81,000 sq m and is 170 meters high. It has 32 floors above ground and 5 floors below ground. It is a 5A-level intelligent green complex integrating offices and commerce. It is expected to be completed and begin operating in mid-2022, serving as a model for digital cultural innovation in Pazhou.

In September, the Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Experimental Zone was recognized by the Ministry of Commerce as a national e-commerce demonstration base. From January to September, Pazhou's main business revenue was 261.59 billion yuan ($41.05 billion), a year-on-year increase of 32.7 percent. Pazhou is expected to attract more companies in the future due to its improving business environment.
