The First Cultural, Business and Tourism Integration Development Conference in Haizhu district was held on Dec 5, during which the Haizhu cultural industry alliance and the Haizhu cultural and art alliance were established in order to aid the development of Haizhu's cultural, literary and artistic industries.

The cultural industry alliance is committed to building a platform for close exchange and cooperation between cultural enterprises, and gathering corporate strength and superior resources to develop Haizhu's cultural industry.

The culture and art alliance is committed to uniting literary and artistic workers, and preserving and developing the achievements of Haizhu's literature and art.

"These two alliances help promote literature and art in enterprises, markets and regular life." Cultural entrepreneurs and artists in Haizhu expressed their affirmation for the two alliances.

There is a strong trend toward the integrated development of culture, business and tourism in Haizhu district. At the conference, eight major cultural, business and travel projects were signed into effect on-site, with a total contract value of nearly 2.3 billion yuan ($361 million).
