A running activity to promote corporate exchanges was held in Haizhu National Wetland Park on Nov 29. More than 80 important investment enterprises and 160 entrepreneurs participated.

This activity selected five first-place prizes, eight second-place prizes, 12 third-place prizes and one best team award. It has become an important platform for Haizhu to promote urban connectivity and communication between government and enterprises.

Since the beginning of this year, Haizhu has carried out industrial investment promotion, introducing more than 110 new key investment projects, including six Fortune 500 investment projects and 12 Fortune 500 investment projects in China. Enterprises in the fields of central enterprise headquarters, digital economy, new retail and national tide consumption have increasingly been agglomerating and setting up operations.

Haizhu's new information technology service industry has increased, with main operating revenue of 41.2 billion yuan ($6.47 billion) from January to September, a year-on-year increase of 26.8 percent.

Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Experimental Zone is devoted to establishing a pilot demonstration platform where the artificial intelligence and digital economy enjoy concentrated, innovative, cooperative, and integrated development.

Pazhou Experimental Zone (the west zone) has brought in many leading artificial intelligence and digital economy corporations such as Tencent, Alibaba, and Gome, which will set up their regional or national headquarters in the zone, with 21 major projects to be carried out. From January to September in 2021, the zone's revenue reached 54.82 billion yuan, an increase of 85.5 percent, and its tax revenue was 2.45 billion yuan, an increase of 53.5 percent.
