The business environment in Guangzhou's Haizhu district has become more optimized thanks to hosts of preferential policies launched by the district.
Haizhu has carried out precise services for companies in six sectors that consist of rent, finance and exhibition, especially for those who are influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Abundant financial support has been given to local companies, and Haizhu now has cultivated eight unicorn enterprises such as YSG, Baturu and Nuomi.
As of October, Haizhu had issued 17.2 million yuan ($3.1 million) in start-up secured loans and 19.87 million yuan in start-up subsidies. It has allocated a total of 13 million yuan to support high-growth small and medium-sized enterprises and 75.23 million yuan in rewards for high-tech enterprises.
Haizhu also focuses more attention on talent services. It has assessed 120 innovative and entrepreneurial talents and granted 26.35 million yuan in talent subsidies. Haizhu has built a talent service platform online and has the authority to issue green cards for talents.
