Pazhou artificial intelligence and digital economy pilot zone in Guangzhou's Haizhu district is showcasing its stylistic booth during the fourth China International Import Expo (CIIE), which will wrap things up in Shanghai on Nov 10.

Huang Fuwei, the deputy head of Haizhu district, said that the district will continue to keep striving to develop the Pazhou pilot zone and make it into a world-class digital economy demonstration zone.

A batch of famous companies that have settled down in Pazhou such as YSG , TCL and United Family Healthcare brought their latest products and technologies to this year's CIIE to further expand their global popularity. 

In recent years, Haizhu has utilized the opportunities brought by the development of the digital economy to promote the high-quality development of Pazhou. 

In the first three quarters of this year, the Pazhou pilot zone has generated a total main operating revenue of 261.59 billion yuan ($40.9 billion), a year-on-year increase of 32.7 percent. The total number of enterprises in the pilot zone exceeds 30,000, and is rapidly increasing with 4,000 enterprises opening up shop in the zone per year.
