Guangzhou S.P.I Design, which is headquartered in Guangzhou's Haizhu district, went public at the growth enterprise market at the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on Aug 13.
Guangzhou S.P.I Design, established in 2007, has been devoting efforts in garden design and is now capable of providing holistic and systematic solutions in four major areas, namely community environments, cultural tourism, commercial complexes, and urban design.
The operation revenue of the company reached 490.21 million yuan ($75.61 million) in 2020 and has set up 15 branches countrywide in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong's Shenzhen with over 1,000 employees. It is one of the few of its kind for being a large-scale landscape design company managing trans-regional businesses all over the country.
The company settled down in Haizhu district in 2019 as the design service industry is one of the major industries that the district has attached great importance to. The compound growth rate of the company's annual operation revenue in the past three years reached 30 percent and the compound growth rate of its net profit amounted to 58 percent.
It is expected that more development opportunities will be accessible since the company went public.
A staff member from Guangzhou S.P.I Design said that Haizhu district has offered all-round services to the company since it started to settle down in the district in areas spanning office location, commercial registration and license handling.
Haizhu has been given full play to the opportunities brought by the construction of the Guangzhou pilot zone for artificial intelligence and the digital economy, casting eyes on new pivots for high-quality growth such as precise investment attraction, industrial agglomeration and brand cultivation.
At present, Haizhu has been home to a batch of central State-owned companies including China National Petroleum Corporation, China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation and China Railway Group Limited as well as a host of industrial giants such as Tencent, Alibaba and Vipshop. More than 20 local companies including Yatsen Global and Guangzhou S.P.I Design have gone public.
