History: The field hospital of the seventh team of the Northeast Democratic Allied Army was established in 1947; it then followed the army to Guangzhou. In 1998, the whole staff of the hospital was transferred to civilian work. The No. 177 hospital of the People's Liberation Army was renamed as the No. 177 Guangdong provincial hospital. In 2004, the hospital was renamed as Guangdong Second Provincial General Hospital
