Yangcheng Square, located at the southern end of Guangzhou's new central axis and right at the foot of the Canton Tower, is a commercial complex integrating a traffic hub, shopping, tourism, leisure and entertainment. It covers an area of 62,000 square meters and has an overall floor area of 113,000 square meters. It is expected to be completed in June. Yangcheng Square will be home to a number of brand and unique stores as well as a theater. 

The square is near to Guangzhou Art Museum, Guangzhou Science Museum, Guangzhou Museum and Chigang Tower and can be accessed by metro Line 3 and the APM line. In the future, metro Line 12 will also reach the square, which will make access to its location even more convenient. 

By then, Yangcheng Square will be regarded as an extension of the cultural and tourist functions of Canton Tower with improved commercial services and facilities.
