Located in the southern section of the central axis of Guangzhou city, Haizhu National Wetland Park has an area of approximately 1,100 hectares, 869 of which are included in the national wetland plan. Now its phase I project, phase II project, and Haizhu Lake are open to the public. The phase I project focuses on integrating native Lingnan culture, with the Lingnan Memorial Archway and typical Huo'er buildings, buildings with a wok ear-shaped roof as landmark buildings. The phase II project connects orchards with water, making them a good habitat for birds. Haizhu Lake is divided into inner and outer areas.
